I am a Ph.D student at [Intelligent Interactive System Group](http://iis.seas.harvard.edu/). My advisor is Prof. [Krzysztof Gajos](http://www.eecs.harvard.edu/~kgajos/). I study human-computer interaction, or in other words, how human interact with algorithmic systems in the world. More specificly, I want to understand how these systems can create or amplify stereotypes, bias, or inequalities. My interests in the area started with my first project on [facial recognition algorithms](https://www.researchgate.net/profile/John_Angileri/publication/338225415_Ethical_Considerations_of_Facial_Classification_Reducing_Racial_Bias_in_AI/links/5e0916c6299bf10bc382bb88/Ethical-Considerations-of-Facial-Classification-Reducing-Racial-Bias-in-AI.pdf).
